Video Posting Update

Some of you may be having problems with uploading videos. We’re working on it. I thought that you might like to know where we are on things. Apparently you need to be using h.264 encoding on the videos. I found a free convertor that should do the trick (if you are on windows)

Video Upload Guidelines

In order to have your videos upload and viewable without any issues, follow these simple guidelines:

Formats: only flv, mp4 and avi formats. That means that the file you upload should look like one of the following; somefilename.flv or somefilename.mp4 or somefilename.avi. DON’T JUST TACK MP4 ON THE END OF THE FILE. You need to actually convert it to the format. If you don’t know how, google it.
File size: 50 Megabytes or less

Coaches Signup Update

Hi Coaches;

Great to see the response, let us know if there is anything else we can help with. I’ve noticed that some of you are going through the regular signup; that’s completely fine, don’t worry. As of right now there are some required fields when you sign up that way that are bypassed when you use the “streamlined” process. You will also want to go into your profile and edit it, look for the “for coaches” tab at the top of your profile so that you can add your College and Sport.

Hi All;

Thanks for joining Player Profile. Tell your friends, get your profiles up, get noticed. I wanted to make sure that everyone knows that you can create photo galleries, not just video. Just choose “Photo” instead of “Video”. We realize that it takes time to create video, but you may already have some good photos. Go ahead and post them.
