Hi All;

Thanks for joining Player Profile.  Tell your friends, get your profiles up, get noticed.  I wanted to make sure that everyone knows that you can create photo galleries, not just video. Just choose “Photo” instead of “Video”.  We realize that it takes time to create video, but you may already have some good photos.  Go ahead and post them.

Spammers will be deleted.  quickly and with precision.  :)

You will need to click on the link in the automated email that you receive from Player Profile in order to become an active member of the site.

SO:

Sign up, check the email address you used to register, click on the link, log in.

Ok, we did away with email activation, if you have tried to join and never received a confirmation email, try again now. Instant Access.

We just revised some of the profile data fields to make them more visible to our internal search.  Take a look.  you may need to redo your profile.

Here’s a quick primer on how to upload video to PlayerProfile.net :

btw, currently the only file formats that work for video are flv, mp4 and avi.

• You must have an account.  no exceptions.
• Login, then click on  ”my account”  and choose “gallery” then “create gallery”.
• The “create gallery” page comes up.  choose the type of gallery (photo, video or audio), for our purposes, choose video.
• Name your gallery in the “gallery title” box.  choose something relevent.
• Add a short description in the “description” box.
• set visibility to “public”  what’s the point of “private” on this site?  ;)
• click “save gallery”  this will take you immediately to the upload screen.
• click “browse” and find your video on your computer.
• click “upload and save”
• now you can edit the tag and description.
